Baby week is coming soon... please send us your requests!

I know that as my kids grow I forget to write about baby issues so we are going to do another baby week soon again and I would love for you to send in any issues that you want us to focus on and we will do some research and give it a go!

Please send in your comments and we will put together a week (or two!) of baby ideas, tips and recipes that will help you make life easier and more healthful!

Thank you for your comments!

Oooh, please talk about how to help wean your kid after you've breastfed her for 2 years and still co-sleep with her. <3

First off, this illustration is precious! Who is the artist? I'm having weening issues too with my almost 2 year old and his morning and night bottle. Love some advice!

I just awarded you "One Lovely Blog" http://www.forthebirdsblog.com/2009/10/call-it-fate-call-it-karma.html

I have a 1 yr old and a couple things wld be interesting to get your take on:

1. family share beds... I had a c-section + in order to breastfeed it was easier to keep her in our bed. Now at age 1, she is very comfy there, but I think we'd all get a better night's sleep now with her in her own bed - she kicks a lot :) any tips on how to move a child in the best possible transition? or do we get a bigger bed? : )

2. The incredible thirst that came with breastfeeding- literally the moment she latches on - I am so thirsty... are there any fluids you recommend for b-feeding mamas?

3. finger food tips for 1 yr olds with only 6-8 teeth...

thanks!

wow. funny how we're all on the same wavelength. sleeping issues: how to get the sweet babe out of the bed for better sleep for all, how to make sure he's warm enough at night now that the weather's getting cooler. the main thing on my mind though is how to quit my job and stay home and still have an income and insurance. [beyond, of course, winning the lottery! :)]

I have finally weaned my 22 month old but he is still sleeping in our bed. I would love advice on how to move him into his own bed because I think we'd all have a better night sleep!

We co-slept with our little one for a long time, although not as long as above, but we found once we had made his bed with his own funky bedding, put his teddies in he was quite happy to get in there. He still slept in our room, in his cot before we moved him into his own room. And it's true, we all slept so much better. (although i miss having him there).

How about how to get my b-fed 4 month old to take a bottle (of breast milk). He's in daycare during the day and is only taking 3 oz., twice daily. Thus, he nurses like crazy when I get home from work (every 1.5 - 2 hours). Bottle recommendations and other tips would be great.
